Glad to see the Easter weekend come early this year. There has been so much going on and I have been swamped since the beginning of the year. I am looking forward to getting the Westy out and heading up to French or China Beach for a weekend of camping. It will be the first of the year and is long overdue.
Had to put a pointer to the Blog from my site until I can get the time to configure it so that this uploads to the site instead. It is a great tool to keep the comments current.
I need to book my Flight this month, I recieved a gift certificate for a 30 minute flight. It should be a blast!
Got a chance to play with the Apple Mac Mini the other day at one of the retailers. It is great and for what appears to be limited resources it really flies along. Of course it was connected up to one of those $6K flat panels which did not hurt my impression of it. :-)
Got a lot of work piling up as well, a bunch of maintenance on some PC's and a couple of Webservers, and now with the nice weather coming on the projects around the house need to get started. Going to pick up an 8' X 8' shed this week and try to get it up this weekend. Will need to pull the old one down, and that is one eye-sore gone thankfully.

So far so good, I really like the interface in this blogger program. I am really thinking of integrating this is into my website as a tool to blog to it with. It is very slick and really accessable, a great drive-by blogging tool. Especially with the abundance of WAP's in Downtown Victoria. Speaking of Wireless anyone know if a map of these points has been created for the Capital Region? Just thinking it may be a very useful map. I was DT at Floyd's Diner on Yates, getting some work done over Coffee and a quick bite, (hmm as I was also using the computer would that be a Bite and a Byte? LOL), from that point I had 3 seperate Access Points coming in with NetStumbler. Wireless is sweet!
On the health front I am really improving, reducing the weight but more importantly shedding the fat! Trying to work out each day, topping it with protein shake in the morning then Cryobolic XP (Croteem booster) after the workout. Been looking forward to getting the Mountain bike out and spending some crazy time on it as well, think it will be great for my cardio and mental release. Going to plan out some camping before the tourists all arrive.
Ah on to my other hobby... The weather here has been so fantastic! I have taken many rides on my Yamaha.... and now that I have finally worn off the Slick protectant off my new rear tire I was able to open her up a bit. Still flat-lining at 6K - RPM which sucks cause I think I am losing a lot of my torque.... Clearing past Helmken and Burnside check the mirror and thought the two wheeled smokey (in their brand-new Sport bikes) got me, was thinking how much $$ this is going to cost me. Hit the red light and this hot bike pulls in beside me, the women on it cracked her helmet and we had time for a quick discussion about the weather and the joy of riding. She took off and I tried to keep up. Man I need something with teeth!. or more teeth!!!.
Got tons of work to get to next week, but going to try to check in as often as possible with this blog.

Not too sure how I got signed up for this Blogging site, maybe I had done so in one of my hazy moments, if you know what I mean? None the less I had an email in my box about resetting my password for my access to this site, so I figured what the heck lets give this a shot, one more thing to play with in my spare time, Yeah spare time is like the spare change those on the street are asking me for all the time. Gov't does not leave any of that for me to pass out and work does not leave any time for me either. Hey don't get me wrong on the time thing, I would hate to be sitting in some job where nothing ever pushes you,, but it does make you enjoy your holidays so much more.
Anyways, perhaps I can use this as a more proficiant tool for updating my website comments? It sure looks feature-rich and easy to access from anywhere! Perhaps the gods are not so crazy after all, and have dropped my my version of a coke-bottle? For those not following my thoughts - - click here.
